Emirates Cable Car Greenwich
If you get the chance I recommend a quick trip back and forth from just outside of London's O2.
You can use your oyster card, but you may need to top up on pay as you go credit.
The journey is very quick, but gives great views of the Thames and Canary Wharf. You can even just see the top of the Cutty Sark at Greenwich.

Brighton
Brighton has a fantastic night life and some great restaurants. This is the beach and the surviving pier.
Portmeirion
Driving back from Nefyn, we stopped at the famous Portmeirion for a few hours.
Portmeirion, designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 - 1975, is located in Gwynedd, North Wales. It was designed in the style of an Italian Village and was featured in the 60's TV programme The Prisoner. It has also been used for other TV locations, including the Doctor Who episode The Masque of Mandragora during the Tom Baker era.

Rome
Taken in February 2012, it was still very warm to me, although not to the Italians, who were in their thick coats and scarves.

View from The Shard
Amazing views across London. You certainly see more than you do on the London Eye. The lift is are amazingly fast, changing half way through. I have been on the Empire state, but this having the glass front certainly made my feet tingle once on the viewing deck. There was one or two that would not venture toward the edges, so maybe not suitable for those with a fear of heights!
This is very close to Borough Market, which is also worth a visit.
